ENJOY BETTER VISION, ENHANCE EVERY MOMENT

DO YOU NEED SINGLE VISION OR NO-LINE PROGRESSIVE LENSES?

Presbyopia, myopia, hyperopia. No matter what condition affects your vision, Nikon Eyes® offers a prescription lens to correct it—so you can see life more clearly.

PRESBYOPIA

Difficulty seeing object clearly up close and far away
What is Presbyopia?

It’s a condition that almost everyone will experience around 40 years of age. Blurred near vision makes it harder to read or work at a computer, and you’ll find yourself holding anything with small print (like menus and packaging) at arm’s length so you can see it. Close-up work (such as sewing and embroidery) can cause fatigue, eye strain, or headaches.

WHAT LENSES CORRECT PRESBYOPIA?

Nikon Eyes Focus no-line progressive lenses correct near and far vision in a single lens. Nikon Eyes Focus lenses are designed with multiple focus points, allowing for gradual transitions between the near and far zones, with no visible line separating them. The result is an experience much closer to natural vision, whatever the distance.

MYOPIA

Nearsightedness. You see clearly close up, but not far away
What is Myopia?

Commonly called “nearsightedness,” this condition lets you see nearby objects clearly, but distant objects are blurry. It’s caused by the light from distant objects focusing in front of, rather than on, your retina.

WHAT LENSES CORRECT MYOPIA?

Myopia can be corrected with Nikon Eyes Advanced Single Vision lenses, which refocus light on the retina using a divergent/concave lens design. They’re available in two materials. Polycarbonate is thinner and significantly more impact resistant than traditional plastic. High Index 1.67 lenses are even thinner and lighter, making them a good choice for people with strong prescriptions.

HYPEROPIA

Farsightedness, you see clearly far away, but not close up
What is Hyperopia?

Also called “farsightedness,” this condition causes nearby objects to appear blurry or fuzzy, while distant objects remain clear. This happens when the light from distant objects focuses behind, rather than on, your retina.

WHAT LENSES CORRECT HYPEROPIA?

Hyperopia can be corrected with Nikon Eyes Advanced Single Vision lenses, which refocus light on the retina using a convex/convergent lens design. They’re available in two materials. Polycarbonate is thinner and significantly more impact resistant than traditional plastic. High Index 1.67 lenses are even thinner and lighter, making them a good choice for people with strong prescriptions.
